Your Fat loss injections journey

Fat Loss Injections Consultation
Step 1
Consultation

Your consultation is carried out in-clinic with an experienced doctor. We review your medical history, current medications, weight and health goals, and assess suitability for prescription-only weight management options. We explain expected outcomes, limitations, alternatives, and material risks in line with UK consent standards.

Fat Loss Injections Assessment
Step 2
Assessment

Where clinically appropriate, we may recommend baseline checks (e.g., bloods) and agree a structured plan. We discuss dosing schedules, monitoring, lifestyle support, and what to do if side effects occur. Treatment is only offered when appropriate and safe for you.

Fat Loss Injections Treatment
Step 3
Treatment

If you are suitable, your doctor may prescribe a GLP-1/GIP-based medication as part of a medical weight management programme. These medicines are prescription-only and must be used under clinical supervision. Your plan is individualised and reviewed as you progress.

Fat Loss Injections Monitoring
Step 4
Monitoring

We arrange follow-ups to assess tolerance, progress, and any side effects, and to adjust your plan where clinically appropriate. We also discuss maintenance strategies and the risk of weight regain after stopping treatment, so expectations remain aligned.

How do fat loss injections work?
Prescription-only medical weight management

Prescription weight management injections (such as GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP-based medicines) are designed to support appetite regulation and improve satiety. For some people, this can make it easier to follow a reduced-calorie plan and maintain consistent habits over time.

These medicines are prescription-only and not suitable for everyone. Suitability depends on your medical history, current medications, BMI and health context, and risk factors. Side effects can occur and may include gastrointestinal symptoms (such as nausea), and other risks will be discussed by your doctor as part of informed consent.

Results vary and depend on multiple factors including adherence, dose titration, lifestyle measures, and duration of treatment. Stopping treatment may be associated with weight regain, which is why we discuss realistic expectations and longer-term strategies as part of a structured programme.

Fat loss injections FAQs
Are fat loss injections suitable for everyone?

No. These medicines are prescription-only and require a medical assessment. Suitability depends on factors such as medical history, current medications, BMI and health context, and risk factors.

What medications are used?

Your doctor will discuss which options are clinically appropriate (if any) after assessment. Not all options are suitable or available for every patient.

How quickly will I see results?

Progress varies. Many programmes aim for gradual, sustainable change, with outcomes depending on individual factors, dose titration, and adherence to the agreed plan.

What are common side effects?

Side effects vary. Some patients experience gastrointestinal symptoms (e.g., nausea). Your doctor will explain what to expect and when to seek medical advice.

Do I need monitoring and follow-up?

Yes. Monitoring helps assess tolerance, progress, and safety. Follow-ups also allow the plan to be adjusted where clinically appropriate.

Will the weight come back if I stop?

Weight regain can occur for some patients after stopping. We discuss realistic expectations and longer-term strategies as part of the programme.
